This integration allows work items to be retrieved from Azure DevOps. These work items can then be tested in Testersuite. Work items that you import appear as requirements in the Test cycle in Testersuite. The following work item types can be imported via the integration:
- User Stories (In the case of an Azure DevOps Agile project)
- Product Backlog Items (In the case of an Azure DevOps Scrum project)
To import Azure DevOps work items to Testersuite , three conditions must be met:
- Integration with Azure DevOps is in place
- There is a mapping in the integration settings for Requirement fields
- In the Test cycle details, an Azure DevOps project and Area Path was chosen.
Import Azure DevOps work items to Testersuite
When the above conditions are met, an Azure DevOps action button is displayed in the Test cycle detail screen that allows work items to be imported from Azure DevOps:

Click this button to import the open user stories / product backlog items from the linked Azure DevOps project and area path. A new product titled Azure DevOps User Stories / Azure DevOps Product Backlog Items is created in the Test cycle. Below the product are the imported Azure DevOps work items in the form of Testersuite requirements:

After importing, the created requirements contain a link to the original Azure DevOps work item.
Each requirement created has as status, priority, short and long description the values from the related Azure DevOps fields. The status field is kept in sync between the two systems when changes are made using the set mapping for requirement fields.
