In the Test Execution module, tests are prepared and scheduled for testers to execute. A test coordinator copies the test cases and test scenarios that are ready for use into test runs. This specifies which tests are to be executed and in what order. The test runs are scheduled and assigned to the testers who will execute them. The testers record the results in the test runs and, where necessary, create defects immediately.
