Also in this release a number of bugfixes have been implemented in Testersuite. Issues concerning the manual e-mailing of requirements and defects, and issues concerning the e-mails sent from the test run output have been fixed. Besides these fixes and minor improvements the following features are now available.
Help documentation available in English
In order to make Testersuite accessible to as many different users as possible, the help documentation is now also available in English. You can switch between the Dutch and English version using the language switcher.
'On the fly' change the status of test cases, test scenarios, and products
In our previous releases, we rolled out this feature for defects and requirements, perhaps the most used items in Testersuite.
Changing the status on the fly allows you to update the status of a Testersuite item without first going to the 'edit' screen. You simply choose the new desired status from the dropdown and it will be saved immediately. Of course this status change just obeys the email rules you have set in the customizing, and the various Testersuite integrations are addressed when applicable.
As of today, this functionality is also available for items of type test case, test scenario and product.
Using the tab key in Testersuite
When designing test cases, the description, the data to be used and the expected result can be defined for each step. Formatting can be used in all these fields. This process is now even faster, because you can now move through the different formatting fields using the tab key.
In addition, the use of the tab key throughout Testersuite has been improved by using outlines to clearly indicate where on the page the focus is.
