In addition to fixing a number of bugs, the following enhancements and new features become available in this release:
Adopt default tester when copying test run
In Testersuite it is possible to create new test runs based on existing test runs. This can be done by selecting a test run and copying it. More information about copying test runs can be found here.
As of this release, when copying a test run, it is possible to choose to restore the default testers of the test cases in the test run. A setting in customization has been added in the Testrun tab for this purpose.
When the checkbox is off then the testers in the test run are copied into the copied test run (as it has always worked). When the checkbox is on then the testers in the test run are replaced with the default testers in the test cases. If a test case has no default tester then the tester behind that test case in the test run is emptied.
Manage JIRA username in the environment
For customers with a Premium subscription, the standard JIRA link is available. As of this release, it is possible to link a JIRA user to a Testersuite user in Environment 1. To do this, go to Users and groups via the admin menu. When you open a user and click Change, a JIRA username can be entered.
More information about the JIRA linkage can be found here.
