This release has also seen bug fixes and improvements in Testersuite. For example, we managed to make our connection with Jira a lot more solid in terms of data synchronization between Testersuite and Jira. In addition, the following new features have been added:
Changing the status of defects on the fly
defects is perhaps the most widely used module in Testersuite. A defect regularly changes its status until it is resolved or rejected. To support this flow better, and to speed up the process of changing a status, this can now be done on the fly within the normal view of defect. This means that clicking on 'change', changing the status and then saving is no longer necessary. This can now be done directly on the page via the new dropdown at 'Status'.
Of course, after changing the status of a defect in this way, the user is informed of any emails that have been sent, or the Jira issue that may be related.
TOPdesk API link: Taking over 'request' text in long description
In the 04/05/2022 release, we rolled out the new standard link with TOPdesk's Change Management module. As of this release, when you download a TOPdesk change to Testersuite , the Testersuite 'long description' field will automatically be filled with the text from the TOPdesk 'request' field. Testersuite This gives you an even more complete overview of the TOPdesk changes to be tested in Testersuite .
