Release 16/11/2022

Like every release, bugs have been fixed and structural improvements made that improve the application in terms of stability and usability. The most notable change in this Testersuite release is the updated interface. Testersuite has received a facelift, making the application clearer, uncluttered and easier to use. In addition to the new look, all the functionality of Testersuite has, of course, been retained. To ensure that familiar workflows are not disrupted, almost everything can be found in the same place as before. So the same ever-evolving Testersuite functionality in a new look!

Below we have highlighted some of the novelties of this interface. We hope all users enjoy exploring and working in this new interface.

The entire application has received an updated look. By grabbing just a little more space for elements, the application has been made more uncluttered. An administrator logging in will see the complete dashboard, including the main menu. The menu for switching between different environments has hereby been moved to the right side.
A tester who logs in will initially see only the things of interest to him/her: the tasks to be performed, and the Test cycles that he/she is part of. Of course, the main menu can also be simply pulled out by this user.
A distinction has been made between actions for the current Testersuite component, and general actions. Thus, the actions for the current component are closer to the content on which the action takes place.
By taking a little more space in the tables, the interface looks quieter, and filtering and searching within a table is even clearer.
The interface also looks a lot calmer when performing test runs. Together with a hidden main menu, for example, this allows for better focus when running tests.
