To quickly create new test cases or test scenarios, it is possible to copy existing test cases or test scenarios. The copy function is located in the list of test cases and in the list of test scenarios.
- Select a test case or test scenario to be copied (by checking the checkbox for it).
- Then click the Copy function button at the bottom of the list screen.
- The copied test case or test scenario is opened and Copy is added for the short description.
- When Cancel is clicked directly then the copy is deleted again. When saving, the copy is saved.
When copying a test case, the detail data, test steps, and attachments are copied. When copying a test scenario, the detail data, relationships to test cases, and attachments are copied. Comment lines and history are not copied.
It is also possible to copy test cases when you are in the tree. When you select a product or requirement in the tree you can copy test cases from the test cases tab in the same way as described above.
