In Testersuite it is possible to archive Test cycles . It is recommended to archive completed Test cycles to keep the list of Test cycles clear. This also reduces the risk of users using the wrong Test cycles . Archived Test cycles can still be accessed and, if desired, it is also possible to retrieve Test cycles from the archive again. Archiving Test cycles works as follows:
At the bottom of the Test cycles list screen is an Archive button. Select the checkboxes for the Test cycles to be moved to the archive and then click the Archive button. After confirmation, the selected Test cycles are moved to the archive and disappear from the "normal" list of Test cycles.
At the top right of the screen is the action button Open archive. This button allows you to open the list of archived Test cycles .
If you want to retrieve Test cycles from the archive you can do so with the Get from Archive button at the bottom of the list of archived Test cycles. Select the checkboxes for the Test cycles you want to remove from the archive and click the Get from Archive button. After confirmation, the selected Test cycles are removed from the archive. They disappear from the archive and are returned to the "normal" list of Test cycles.
With the action button Close archive you can close the archive and return to the "normal" list of Test cycles.
Moving to and removing from the archive is recorded in the history of the corresponding Test cycles.
Test cycles that are in the archive are not editable. If you want to make changes you must first remove a Test cycle from the archive.
