When you open a test case or a test scenario in the Test Design module, the action button Create New Test Run is located at the top right .
This button allows you to immediately create a new test run from the test case or test scenario you are in. The following data from the test case or test scenario will be taken over in the new test run:
- Short description
- Long description
- Test type
If you create a test run from a test case then the new test run will contain that test case. If you create a test run from a test scenario then the new test run will contain the test cases that are in the test scenario.
Creating multiple test runs simultaneously in Test Design
It is possible to create multiple test runs simultaneously in the Test Design module based on test cases or test scenarios. Once created, the test runs will have the same properties as mentioned above. For this you select in the overview page of test cases or test scenarios the desired items for which you want to create test runs. Then use the 'Create test runs' button:

In the next screen you can, if desired, set properties for the test runs that will be created. These properties will be applied to all test runs you create at that time. This allows you to give the new test runs for example the same start or end date, or indicate whether the order should be maintained when performing the test runs. Then click on 'Create test runs':

The test runs are created. You land in the overview screen of the test runs, where a confirmation of creation is shown:
