Testersuite is flexibly structured, allowing each customer to adapt (customize) the modules to their specific needs. Customizing Testersuite can be done in the module Customizing. This module can be accessed through the
Settings menu in the Program bar. Users with the role Manager have the rights to make modifications to the module Customizing. In doing so, the following adjustments can be made:
Settings per entity
Per entity (product, test case, defect etc.) there is a tab to configure the respective entity. The following adjustments are possible:
- Creating new fields
- Modify field names
- Setting default (initial) values
- Maintain values of drop-down lists
- Set visibility of fields (Visible: yes/no)
- Set whether fields are mandatory (Mandatory: yes/no)
- Set in which order the fields should be displayed on the screen

Settings for Automatic Emails
To manage collaboration between Testersuite users, it is possible to automatically send tasks by email. This "workflow" feature can be enabled on the following items:
- For automatic mailing of requirements
- For automatic mailing of defects
- For automatically emailing tests to be run
