When you open a test case or a test scenario there is an action button at the top of the screen that allows you to export the data to Excel. The following data will be exported:
- Test case: all fields on the Details tab and all test steps from the Steps tab
- Test Scenario: all fields on the Details tab and all test cases from the Test Cases tab, including the test steps of the test cases.
The data is organized into two tabs in the Excel file.
It is possible to export the list of test cases or the list of test scenarios to Excel. Open the list of test cases or the list of test scenarios by clicking on the appropriate item in the main menu. Again, the action button for exporting to Excel is located here. When you export the list of test cases then the option is given to also export the steps of the test cases.
To export individual test cases and test scenarios you need at least the role Test Coordinator (see also : Roles and permissions). If the action button is not visible then you do not have the rights needed to do so.
